Hey all!!

Sorry for the delay, but I have been super busy. Well, What is new since I last posted....... Oh ya!! We got a puppy!!! He'll be coming home any day now! He's a litle husky, but we haven't figured out a name yet. Maybe Cooper, I dunno. SO life's good. Pretty much settled into our house. I cannot emphasize(sp?) how importan shelving is!! I think I would go crazy if there were no such thing as shelves. I need to go buy some before I pull my hair out! We just have too much stuff and not enough room to put it. but anyway, I'm at work, so I goota jet, but I'll post some pictures later! xoxoxox

Franc and I have been smoke free for 8 days now. I can't believe it! It feels great, but then again sometimes I miss it. Franc too. But we keep on going. The meds help a lot. I don't even want to think of what it would be like if I didn't take them. So anyway, Franc and Jody and I went to the movies last night. This is the reason that you don't go downtown after 10pm. We were too scared to go to our car cuz there was a bunch of people hanging out over there and it seemed like they were fighting. We quickly ran to our car, got in and locked the doors. As soon as one of them realised this, they came over. He tried to get Franc to roll down his window by saying that he was hurt. That is what they do. They tell you a story to get you to open your window and then thet grab you. Franc wouldn't open the window, and started to back up. The guy followed for a second, and then went back to the crowd, not looking too hurt at all! Stupid a-holes! We're not that stupid! Anyway, not trying to make anyone worry, in case you didn't know, Jody is a 6'3, around 260lbs, man. We was the body guard. He was on his motor bike watching the whole time. Anyway, that's the drama this week, all is well now. We are alive and well, and loving our new home.Talk to you soon!

Well it's day 3 and I still haven't taken one puff! Horray for me!! Franc is pretty grumpy though. I think he really loved smoking, but I'm sure it'll get better. I'm probably grumpy too so I can't blame him. Zyban is not too bad, not as bad as some of the stories I've heard about it. Like you're stoned all the time and stuff. You do feel a bit weird the first few days, but it's fine after that. The only bad side effect that I've had so far is that I can't sleep well at night. I wake up every 2.5-3 hours. Kinda sucks. But hey, I haven't smoked so it's worth it! I'm knid of on a health kick right now. Quit smoking, I'm going to do a detoxification, and I want to start walking more often. I bet those of you that know me well are like, WOW! Laura - health conscious - wierd! haha! I'll keep you posted!

Hello all! Well, Franc and I are all moved into our new home. It's awesome! I love it. The only bad part is that we have to do our own landscaping, grrrr. So we're on day 2 of being smoke free! We're both on Zyban, so that makes it a lot easier, but don't be fooled, it's still hard! I get the urge once in a while, but I tell myself, we just can't afford to smoke! It's gonna kills us anyway! Nothing more to report yet. I'll take pics of the house and post it for you guys. I'll keep you posted on the smoking thing too! Wish me luck!!!

Hello from the North! Haha! Well, we are in the process of moving into our new house! You have no idea how much work it is buying a new house! Plus I have to get all of our addresses changed, cuz Franc won't do it! Lazy pooper! But I'm soo excited! We have lots of young couples as neighbours, and one couple are from Estavan, Sask. Finally some people I can talk to! No more anti-social Laura! But back to the moving, I didn't know that you could accumulate so much stuff in less than a year! But at least this will be the last time we move for at least 3 years(sorry girls, I'm not moving back), and then to Edmonton or maybe Fort Sask, where my mom+dad live. It's really nice there. But things are going a lot better now(Amber!). All of our appliances and furniture are coming tomorrow and Sat., so lots of work to do. And the lovely end of my wonderful story: The cat is gone tomorrow!!!! No more kitty!! I'm so happy!

Well, I'm not a happy camper this week. It just seems like everything is going wrong. I guess the stress is starting to get to me. First of all, I've been sick with a head cold from hell for over a week now. I can't sleep, eat, or do anything. Plus it's so freaking hot here. +35 for the last week! But here's the best part, Saturday morning we get a phone call at 6:30 from Franc's sister. She had just left the house for work. She tells Frank to come downstairs and look at his car. Ya, his brand new car that isn't even a month old yet. So we go down, and find that some kids have spray painted our car. They wrote f**k U on the hood and sprayed the rims, all in red. I was so mad. I don't know why people have no respect. We are quiet in our little neighborhood, we haven't done anything to make anyone mad. Just stupid people with nothing better to do I guess, but still. At least we found some stuff that cleaned it off. It's called mother's putty, it's like modeling clay, and it works like an eraser on the spray paint. It still took us about 5 hours to get the car cleaned though, and there's still some paint on the rims. I'll post some pics later. But I have to go back to work. I promise I won't wait another month before writting. haha

Well hello there,

I suppose some of you have been wondering if i'm dead since I haven't written in a long time, but no, I was gone to the G-boug! I guess none of you that live there have heard of the internet, or maybe just Amanda and Ced. Just kidding guys. Anywho, I had an awesome time! I do believe that I may have developed an ulcer from all the dang booze! Oh mi estomica! I didn't do anything that I was supposed to get done! I was going to pick flowers and a cake, but nope, didn't do it. I did get my hair trials done though. I'll post some pics later; I'm at work and my pics are at home. Franc had a good time too, he saw a lot of old high school buddies, and I think that was good for him. A good boost of confidence to show that he's happy and doing well in life. It was our 2 year aniversary(I can't believe I'm not sure how to spell that) on the 10th. 2 Years! I can't believe how fast time goes by when you're happy. One thing that did bother me on our trip was the nice little present that Franc gave me when I was sleeping on our way to G-bourg. All of the sudden he wakes me up panicking, and I was like what the crap is going on! Well, I guess that he decided to test out our new car(the Skyline) to see how fast it would go. Well, cruizing down the highway at 200+ km/r, a ghost car is coming the opposite way, by the time our detector went off, it was too late. The cop ripped a u-turn over the meridian and came after us. We pulled over and the cop told us that Franc was losong his license and going to court! He went to his car to do whatever it takes them 20 minutes to do over ther (that really bugs me), and came back to tell us that, because it was his first ticket, they weren't going to take his license, which is good cuz I can't drive that car yet. But we did get a $350 ticket, and Franc only has 2 points left until he loses his license. So that was our great adventure. So it's back to work for me, and back to my normal, SOBER life.

The stress!!!

Well, here are a couple of things that are driving me crazy!

1. Our ex-room mate Marc decided to go "find himself", and took off to who knows where. Well, he has a 5 1/2 foot sanke named Cecilia that he asked us to take care of until July, at which time his ex-wife would come get her. He was also supposed to have someong come feed her,cuz you have to take her out of her cage so she doesn't associate the opening of her cage with food. But the person hasn't come. So, this snake has not eaten in a month and a half, and let me tell you, I'm not sticking my hand in a cage with a snake almost as big as I am who is HUNGRY!

2. The cat, oh the cat.... So Franc decides he's going to be nice and take care of his friend's cat until they find a place to live. So nice right? HA!! This stupid cat!! First of all, it's huge! Majorly fat cat. Second, it freaking meows at 6am every flipping day! But now to top it all off, it's been in the +30s for the las week, and the cat is losing lot of hair, and when I say lots, I mean mountains! This is a hairy cat! And the cherry on top of it all, our vacuum is BROKEN!!! I get down on my hands an knees every day to pick up clmps of hair!! GRRRR!!

Other than that, pretty excited about heading to G-bourg on Friday. Hope to see you guys that can come there!

Oh the relaxation!!

I went for my first real massage with a massage therapist today. Oh my Lordy!! I feel so good! It was kinda wierd when she pulled my entire arm pretty much off of my body, but it felt sooo good! I feel like a wet noodle! If anyone has never had a massage, I highly recommend going! Go for an hour and a half though, one hour just won't be enough.

Hello everyone!!!

This is my first blog!! I'm so excited!! As of today, there isn;t really anything important to post, except that I'm going to my home town for 10 days on Friday!! YEAH!! Oh, and goint to pick me and my finacee's new car! Godzilla! (for those of you that don't know what Godzilla is, it's a Nissan Skyline G-TR) It's hot! Well, be prepared to hear some crazy adventures in the future!
